Goals & Objectives
The goal of PREP/APRA is to increase the knowledge and professionalism of its members by facilitating educational programming that promotes the highest standards in accordance with the APRA Code of Ethics. We will achieve this goal through the following objectives:
- Hosting two full-day conferences (Fall and Spring) with presentations by nationally recognized professionals in the field of prospect research
- Hosting at least two APRA Virtual Seminars
- Hosting informal networking opportunities through pre-conference socials
- Providing resources and mechanisms to encourage and enable members to learn from each other through a mentoring program, the Chapter website, and the e-publication PREParazzi
- Maintaining a Lending Library of tapes and CDs from past APRA conferences
- Co-sponsoring and promoting the annual Mid-Atlantic Researchers Conference (MARC)
- Providing a Professional Development Grant
- Upholding APRA ethics
- Promoting APRA membership and attendance at APRA events
